In a unexpected crossover event that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden sect.

The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Material

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana in addition to several items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
